Something Special
We hand craft each bar of soap from scratch. It starts with an idea - what do we want out of this bar of soap in particular? Then we craft a recipe specifically for that batch of soap. We hand select each ingredient, from the butters, oils, oats & clay (OF COURSE!), fragrance or essential oils, and special additives such as goat’s milk or organic coconut cream. Each small artisan batch is made right here in our studio in Council Bluffs, Iowa. We carefully cure each bar before photographing, labeling, and posting them for sale.

YES! Because we use different ingredients in different bar formulas, some lather more than others. Whether you’re looking for a big bubble, creamy lather, or exfoliating foam, we have a bar for you.

Once the bar of soap is fully cured (about 4-6 weeks from the day it’s made) the bars will be as hard as they are going to get. Natural soap is known for lasting a long time - if you take care of it! Remember to keep it dry between uses. Nothing melts a natural bar of soap faster than sitting in a puddle of water!
